Our new classroom video conferencing tool will bring online learning even closer to an in-person classroom experience, with new features to help teachers and students to engage and assess growth.
Class enhances the video conferencing experience of the Zoom platform, providing a user interface that helps students focus on their instructor during lessons while assisting their teacher in monitoring student engagement. This includes alerts to an instructor when a student has begun using other applications during a class.
Class also recreates the ability for teachers to have one-on-one chats with students during a course separate from the rest of their students.
More details about this new tool will be shared with Pacific Crest Online students and families prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year.
